Search operation continues in Banaras, Orangi

KARACHI: CCPO Karachi Fayyaz Leghari on Sunday said that only two to three areas in Karachi were affected by violence, while the situation in other areas is completely under control.
Talking to Newspaper, Leghari said that a few people had been taken in custody on charges of violence, while investigation continued.
He said that law enforcement agencies were continuing a search operation in the areas of Banaras and Orangi.
Leghari said that the security plan was limited to the PS-94 polling and for that 3,000 police personnel and 1,000 Rangers had been deployed.
